Located immediately to the S of Nant-y-Ffridd.
History
Early C19 barn range built as part of the Nant-y-Frid farm complex with which it is contemporary.
Exterior
Long barn range of whitened limestone rubble construction under a slate roof. The E side has a large barn entrance to the second bay with wooden frame, and plain openings to R and L. Further Entrance to the lower (N) gable end, with loading bay above, all with wooden frames; loading bay (winnowing door?) to the central rear.
Interior
Five-bay interior with original tie-beam trusses; the Southern-most truss has partly collapsed.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special interest as an early C19 barn range associated with the contemporary Nant-y-Fridd farm complex.
