Situated some 2.5 km NE of Llangadog on A4069, on E side of road, some 100m S of drive to Green Grove.
History
Milestone, late C18 or early C19 on former main road between Llandovery and Llandeilo, supplanted in C19 by A40 N of the river.

Milestone, whitewashed stone with incised black painted letters: '4 Miles Llandovery 8 Llandilo 2 Llangadock'.
Reason for designation
Included for transport historical interest, a locally distinctive type. One of a series on the old turnpike road.
