Cadw's description
Location
Located immediately adjacent to the walled 'knot' garden on the east.
History
The summerhouse was built in the 1920s during the ownership of Duncan Alves. Its 3 arches were originally open but later infilled with French windows, probably associated with its more recent use as a visitors tea room.
Exterior
Summerhouse. Half-hexagonal plan with flat back to adjoining 'knot' garden wall. Roughly coursed rubblestone with flat roof behind parapet and painted projecting string course. 3 large round-headed arches to front have French windows.
Interior
No notable architectural features.
Reason for designation
Included as one of a number of garden structures erected in the 1920s, an important period for the development of the gardens and grounds at Bryn Bras Castle.
