History
The road from Porthyrhyd to Pont Llandeilo-yr-ynys was part of the Three Commotts Turnpike Trust system established in the late C18.
Exterior
Late C18 milestone of limestone which bears the lettering: "From / Nantgaredig / 3 Miles / To / Porthyrhyd / 1 ¾." The stone is about 500mm high by about 400mm wide.
