Cadw's description

Situated by roadside just S of Gorof y Melyn in Rhandirmwyn.

Small pound for stray animals, presumably C19, marked on later C19 O.S. maps.

Pound, circular rubble stone enclosing wall some 1.7m high, one C20 opening in N side, entry on W with C20 wooden gate. Diameter of some 5m.

Included as a well-preserved and relatively rare surviving animal pound.
