Situated immediately behind Pentwyn.
History
Outbuilding to Pentwyn, probably later C18 and built as lofted stable. In poor condition 1998.
Exterior
Outbuilding, rubble stone with slate close-eaved roof, small hip on E gable. S side has broad opening to left, enlarged probably from single door. E end has loft door with timber lintel. Blocked door in N rear wall.
Interior
Lofted interior with heavy beams. Three stalls against E end wall. Cobbled floor. Triple purlin roof with pegged tie-beam-and-collar truss.
Reason for designation
Included for group value with Pentwyn, and as a surviving outbuilding of relatively early date.
