Cadw's description
Location
The house stands at the end of a long driveway leading off the main road N of Pwllheli. The service yard is at the N end of the rear wing.
History
The building was probably built in the mid C19 as an auxiliary coachhouse or carthouse, supplementing the original gig house and stable at right angles on the SE side of the yard.
Exterior
The building is built of rubble stonework with a slate roof. Two coachhouse openings on the ground floor, one with boarded doors, and two small-paned timber windows directly above on the first floor.
Reason for designation
Included as an important adjunct to Ty Iocws, and part of the group of service buildings forming a yard at the N end of the house.
