At north side of Heol y Banc in Bancffosfelen, 50 m west of the entrance to Llwynpiod.
History
The road through Pontyberem to Carmarthen was part of the Kidwelly Turnpike Trust system re-established in the late C18 under its Renewal Act of 1779.
Exterior
Late-C18 milestone of limestone bearing the lettering: "From / Carmarthen / 8 Miles / To Llannon / 4". The stone is about 600 mm high by about 400 mm wide, and about 150 mm thick. The top is roughly rounded.

Listed as a late-C18 milestone of characteristic local type.
