Built into the slope end on to the lane, at right angles to the farmhouse, a sloping yard between.
History
Dated 1773 inscribed TW.
Exterior
Barn of stone rubble with regular quoins corrugated roof. Four bays, full height double opposing doors centre left, hipped roofed porch bay to outer side, doors now blocked, with added lean-to. 2 rows of ventilation slits to sides, 4 at downhill gable end. Attached to uphill side is a later range with shallower roof pitch and brick dressings.
Interior
Centre left flagged threshing floor.Pegged collar and tie roof trusses and 3 rows of trenched purlins.
Reason for designation
Included as a dated C18 barn for a small scale farm and for group value with the farmhouse.
