Cadw's description

Beside road from Llannon to Crosshands, 1km north of Llannon church.

The road from Llandeilo to Llannon was part of the Three Commotts Turnpike Trust system established in the late C18.

Late C18 milestone of limestone bearing the lettering: "From / Llandilo / 11 Miles / To / Llanelly / 6 1/2". The stone is about 500mm high by about 350mm wide, and projects about 50mm from the face of a garden wall into which it is now built. The top is neatly rounded.

Listed as a late C18 milestone of characteristic local type.
