Cadw's description

At right angles to the barn at a lower level and separated from it by a wall which forms a small separate yard fronting the byre.

Possibly c1700 and contemporary with main house which is dated 1699 and was the home of the Vaughan family.

Range of stone rubble with stone tile roof. Five square headed doorways with timber lintels and boarded stable doors to byre; above are two boarded loft openings; in N gable end a high triangular ventilator. Attached lower stable with corrugated roof.

Included as a c1700 traditional farm building retaining much of its original fabric including stone tile roof.

Group value with Cathedine Fawr farmhouse and Barn.
