Cadw's description

Located approximately 100m NE of Cae Glas, set gable into a hill-slope and with a modern barn adjoining to the NE.

3-bay boulder-built barn of late C17 or early C18 date and associated with the nearby Cae Glas.

Small rectangular field barn of rubble construction on boulder foundations; old slates to SW roof pitch, corrugated iron to NE, unkneelered rubble gable parapets. Recessed boarded door to downhill gable end and loading bay to uphill gable; further entrance to NE side, with recessed boarded door as before.

3-bay interior with original collar-and-tie-beam roof trusses and pegged purlins, all with rough scantling.

Listed for its special interest as a complete surviving late C17/early C18 vernacular field barn.
