Cadw's description
Location
Situated at the N end and to the W of the barn range at Cefnamwlch.
History
Wrought iron gates to enclosure to rear of the barn at Cefn Amwlch, possibly early C19 and perhaps reset here.
Exterior
Pair of large wrought iron gates, perhaps reset, between plain squared stone piers. Scroll-work in lower part, then closely-set rails with mid-rail of roundels above mid-height. Scrolled spearheads over top-rail flanking centre wrought iron fleur-de-lys.
Reason for designation
Included for group value with barn range, and as fine ironwork.
