History
Early/mid C19. This road was managed by the Aberystwyth Turnpike Trust, which was set up in 1770.
Exterior
Low painted milestone with rounded top. Inscription (partly following curve) reads: "Aberayron 7 miles. Lampeter 6".
Reason for designation
Listed for historic interest as a survival of early road transport history.
