History
Early C19 milestone on Aberaeron to Aberystwyth road. Turnpike trust formed 1770.
Exterior
Description: White painted milestone standing approximately 1m high. Rounded top. Upper part of inscription follows curve. Inscription reads: "ABERYSTWYTH 9 MILES".
Reason for designation
Listed as an historically interesting survival of early road transport history in the county.
