Location
Situated on N side of A486, some 50m W of dwelling called Post-bach.
History
Mid/late C19. This section of road was maintained by the Cardiganshire Turnpike Trust, which received its first Act in 1770.
Exterior
Painted cast-iron milepost standing about 60 cm high. Two-faced angled front bevelled to sloping top. Left face reads: "NEW QUAY 6 MILES". Other reads "LLANDYSUL 9 MILES".
Reason for designation
Listed as a survival of early road transport history.
