Location
Located on the roadside and set into the end of the S boundary wall of the Carne Arms public house at Llysworney.
Exterior
C19 white painted cast iron milepost of triangular form with the top face obliquely cut. Black painted raised lettering reading: "Pencoed Station 6" on the top face, "Lantwit 3 1/4 miles" on the left hand face and " Bridgend 6 miles" on the right hand face.
Reason for designation
Listed grade II for historic interest as a surviving C19 milepost.
