Cadw's description

Situated on S side of A 487, some 800m W of Brynhoffnant.

Early Cl9 milestone on Cardigan to Aberaeron road, for which a Turnpike Trust was formed 1770.

Tooled sandstone milestone with whitewashed face inscribed "To Cardigan 10 miles".

Included as a relic of early C19 transport history in the area.
