Located on the NE side of Varchoel Lane, on the SE side of the farm yard.
History
Farmhouse. C17.
Exterior
Timber framed with colourwashed noggings. Gable end clad in corrugated iron. Slate roof. One storey and attic, 3 bays, probably type C plan but with entrance at hall end of double width parlour bay at E end, services at W. Lean-to kitchen at rear, formerly with oven.
Framing 3 panels high with corner braces. Parlour bay 6 panels wide but frame altered at upper level.
Panelled door in C20 open-fronted porch. Two-light timber casement windows, and 3 gabled dormers. Three flue brick stack.
Interior
Not accessible at the time of inspection.
Reason for designation
Listed as a good representative example of the regional timber-framed tradition.
