Cadw's description

A detached building in the yard to the SW of the Old Workhouse, forming the western boundary of the site.

Part of the original workhouse complex of 1837, and probably used as a laundry from the outset. Whitewashed roughly coursed and squared stone with slate roofs, with the remains of 2 axial stacks. A high single storeyed range, with 2-storeyed cross wing to the S. 2 windows and 2 doors, stepped in height to accommodate to the slope of the site. Doorway and window alongside it in the upper storey of the gabled cross-range, accessed from the higher ground at the S of the site.

Listed as an integral part of the original workhouse complex.
