Cadw's description

The house lies close to the road crossing of the River Severn, at a lower level than the approaching causeway.

House, probably early mid C18

Rendered stone with slate roof. 1+ storeys, 3 bays with 1-bay rear wing behind the centre bay, extended westward under a long outshut. A single storey stone-built extension to W,and brick extension to E. Part glazed door within a C19 brick arched and gabled porch. Timber casement windows and two semi-dormers breaking eaves line, with a further dormer to the rear wing. Large stack to W gable, and smaller stack on E.

Not accessible at time of inspection.

Included as a small C18 vernacular house adjoining the old river crossing on the road to Shrewsbury.
