Cadw's description
Location
Encloses a small yard to the SE of the farmhouse and attached outbuildings.
Exterior
Range of outbuildings, probably formerly a cowhouse and cart-shed. Early C19, and contemporary with the house and its attached outbuildings. Roughly coursed and squared rubble with slate roof. Single storeyed, with left hand bay slightly higher. This has single segmentally arched doorway. To the right, 2 wide segmental archways flank a similar doorway. King-post trusses of standard C19 type.
Reason for designation
Part of a group with Pont Faen Farmhouse, and a good example of a small vernacular farm, which contrasts with the larger scale of the farm at Rhydorddwy Fawr.
