Cadw's description

Situated just within Dyfed Wildlife Trust Coed MB Goddard Nature Reserve, off lane to Penlan from Llechryd. Close to W bank of Afon Teifi.

Early to mid C19 limekiln, rubble stone, of exceptional size, a skewed rectangle in plan, built into bank on S and with steeply battered N wall. W and E sides have tall triangular-headed openings with horizontally-laid edge stones, the sides canting in to small fire-holes. Both sides have battered buttress to N of opening. Circular stone lined top crucible.

A well-preserved example of coastal-type of limekiln.
