The Abergele- Conway Road was turn-piked in the 1760's, and the milepost probably dates from this period. Round headed stone inscribed on the tooled surface 'To Abergele 7 miles. To Conway 4 miles 6 furlongs'.

An interesting relic of communications' history in the area.
