Cadw's description

To rear (west) of Pentre-mawr.

The dairy has a datestone over the main doorway reading 'Deo Gloria / IDGD / 1666'.

A building of 2 storeys in uncoursed axe-dressed local limestone, with slate roof. Single-storey lean-to buildings at rear in ruinous condition. Much growth of vegetation at rear.

At front (facing east) the building has 3 loft windows and 3 ground storey windows alternating with doors and 2 small vents. The windows are diagonally lathed for ventilation. The left door is boarded, in a substantial frame. The right door is probably a later insertion, also boarded but with a brick cambered arch.

Interior not inspected.

A C17 dairy outbuilding which has retained its character; listed also for group value with the house and agricultural buildings at Pentre-mawr
