Location
Situated on N side of minor road from Crosswell to Newport, some 2 km W of Crosswell.
Exterior
Earlier C19 farmhouse in squared rubble stone with slate roof and roughcast end stacks, larger to left. Two-storey, three-window front, off-set to right, with 12-pane sashes, smaller under eaves and larger below, with cut stone voussoirs in grey and buff. Similar head to centre doorway. Slate sills. Outshut rear.
Attached to left is roughcast service range, two storey with asbestos sheet roof and C20 windows.
Front garden is enclosed by curving slate-capped rubble wall with iron gate.
Reason for designation
A little altered, traditional farmhouse.
