Location
Situated behind No 4, facing N over grassy track to side of former Board School.
Exterior
Early C19 pair of cottages, now one house, rubble stone with grouted slate roofs to front and three stone stacks. One storey and loft, each cottage double fronted with 12-pane sash each side of centre door. Red brick cambered heads. Sloping site, the windows and door of upper cottage reaching closer to eaves than those of lower cottage. Four panelled doors. Loft window in W end wall. Four modern dormers to rear.
Reason for designation
Marked on 1840 Tithe Map, though to slightly different plan.
