Cadw's description

Situated some 1.7km SE of Newport Church in angle of Cilgwyn road and un-named lane running S towards Dol-rhannog and Penrhiw farms.

Early to mid C19 cottage of unusually architectural design; colourwashed rubble stone with slate roof and stone end stacks, that to S larger. One storey and loft, double fronted with large 12-pane hornless sash each side of 4-panel door, door and sashes under blank stone arched heads. N end wall has small 12-pane sash to loft with similar arch over. Split slate sills. Outshut rear.
