Location
On NE side of street some 55m S of its junction with High Street.
History
Earlier C19 terraced house, the eaves slightly higher than Wilton House adjoining and considerably higher than No 10 to right. Large two-bay facade suggest a former town house.
Exterior
Terraced house roughcast with slate roof and overhanging eaves. Red brick end stacks. Large scale, three-storey, two-bay front with large 4-pane sashes to upper floors apart from late C19 canted oriel to first floor left with small modillion cornice and 2-4-2-pane glazing. Full-width late C19 shop front comprising shop window at either side (left one with recessed shop door), each flanked by pilasters with paired doors in the centre. Fascia and moulded cornice over, the centre and right part covered by sloping board (2005) and the pilasters of the centre doors also covered.
Interior
Interior not inspected.
Reason for designation
Included for its special architectural interest as a terraced house in late Georgian style.
