Cadw's description
Location
Situated along E front of Town Hall Gardens with short returns along Coleshill Terrace and Waunlanyrafon.
Exterior
Circa 1895-6 gates and railings to Town Hall in painted cast iron. Two pairs of tall panelled gate piers with mid-height roundel panel, moulded bases and caps and globe finials on circular stands, the globes gadrooned to lower halves, ringed, and with pointed finials. Double iron gates with fleur-de-lys spearheads, more ornate to main bars than to dog bars. Between gateways and each side lengths of matching railings on stone coping, the stanchions between each section of railings stamped Raybould & Co, Workington. Railings curve round north east and south east corners and terminate at single cast iron pier.
