Cadw's description

On W bank of River Tawe and close to the bascule bridge at entrance to Swansea Athletic Stadium.

Probably mid C19, restored. Ramped revetment wall of coursed stonework with dressed blocks to edges, some concrete facing and repairs. South part of revetment wall reinforced with iron tie-bars. Surface of quay has inset timber-frame with brick infill. Round iron core of former crane embedded in cement surface toward S end. Timber post towards N end.

The quay was used for unloading Cornish copper ore for the Morfa Copper works on W bank.
