Cadw's description

On pavement at junction of New Castle Street and High Street.

Early C20. Circular iron pillar box of standard design.

Fluted rim to shallow domed cap. "POST OFFICE" lettering to frieze with letter opening, moulded base. Curved door embossed with crowned monogram "E VII R".

Included for group value as part of a good group of listed public buildings in town centre.
