On the pavement on the E corner with Weatherall Street; beside the pillar box.

GVIR K6 type. Square red kiosk of cast iron construction to the standard design of Giles Gilbert Scott; architect of London Design introduced by GPO in l936; this example manufactured by Lion Foundry Kirkintilloch.

Domed roof with 4 lunettes containing embossed crowns over ventilation slits and modern opals. Raised surround to sides and door with marginal glazing bars to horizontal glazing.
