Location
At the E end of the hamlet of Capel Trisant approximately 0.5km NW of Llyn Frongoch. Set on grass verge just S of the chapel.
History
Telephone kiosk of K6 type, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, architect, the design introduced by GPO in 1936. This example dates from the reign of King George VI and was manufactured by Carron Company, Stirlingshire.
Exterior
Telephone-kiosk, red-painted cast-iron with wooden door. Domed roof with 4 lunettes containing embossed crowns over red lettered opals and ventilation slits. Raised surrounds to sides and door with marginal bars to horizontal glazing. Blank rear and moulded plinth.
