Situated opposite and parallel to farmhouse range.
History
Mid C19
Exterior
Barn and stable range in rubble stone with slate roofs, lofted, with taller roof to upper barn.
Barn range has high camber-headed entry to left of centre, with stone voussoirs and ledged double doors. To right is door with stone voussoirs and small eaves loft opening above.
Lower range, down slope, is stable and cart shed with loft over. Stable to right has door with small square window each side, all with stone voussoirs, and loft opening under eaves above door. To left, outside stone steps to loft door and, beyond, arched cart-shed entry with cut stone voussoirs. Plank doors generally with wrought-iron hinges.
Reason for designation
A fine C19 farm range, little altered and grouping with farmhouse.
