Situated off lane running N from A 475 at Pentre-bach, some 200 m N of junction.
History
c1830-40.
A similar farmhouse to Dolau-gwyrddon Uchaf (q.v.) which is dated 1837. Owned by a local architect, Llewellyn Bankes Price, in early C20.
Exterior
Farmhouse, roughcast with stucco dressings to front, whitewashed rubble stone to rear. Two-storey, 3-window front of 12-pane sashes above. French windows below and centre 6-panel door with fan-tracery in square overlight. C20 porch. Plain stucco shouldered window surrounds. Half-hipped slate roof with rendered end stacks and bracketed flat eaves. W end wall has hornless 12-pane first floor sash. Two-storey whitewashed rubble rear wing with big N end stone stack.
