Paths of Remembrance through Brigittenau - Commemoration of the Jewish population
Kinderambulatorium und Sonnentagesheim der israelitischen Kultusgemeinde
From 1918 to 1938 there was a Kinderambulatorium here for destitute Jewish children from the 2nd and 20th districts. The Sonnentagesheim for children at risk of tuberculosis, aged four to 12 years, was open all day from June to September. Up to 400 children could recover here on the lawns and in the open-air rest halls.

The association "Steine der Erinnerung" has set up a memorial path through Brigittenau. Small brass plaques commemorate Jewish life and honour former Jewish residents of Brigittenau, standing in for the more than 1600 inhabitants who were murdered in the Holocaust.
