Omschrijving
Herv. kerk. Op dorpsbrink met oude beplantingen gelegen laatgotische kerk, bestaande uit een enkelbeukig schip van drie traveeën, een smaller koor met driezijdige sluiting (alles ca. 1500) en een forse toren (XIV) met galmgaten, waarin romaans en vroeggotisch aandoende deelzuiltjes met kapitelen, bekroond door een zadeldak tussen trapgevels (ca. 1628). Restauratie 1929-'30, waarbij de overwelving met kruisribgewelven wederom is aangebracht. Eenklaviers orgel, in 1800 gebouwd door R. Knol voor de Herv. Kerk te Oosterwolde. In 1974 overgeplaatst en gerestaureerd door Flentrop Orgelbouw. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van G. Lansinck, 1591, diam. 130 cm. en één moderne klok. Mechanisch smeedijzeren torenuurwerk Sprakel, Goor, 1665, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Reformed Church. Late Gothic church situated on the village green with old plantings, consisting of a single-aisle nave of three bays, a narrower choir with three-sided closure (all circa 1500) and a substantial tower (14th century) with louvres, containing Romanesque and early Gothic looking small columns with capitals, crowned by a gabled roof between stepped gables (circa 1628). Restoration 1929-'30, when the vault with cross ribbed vaulting was again installed. One-manual organ, built in 1800 by R. Knol for the Reformed Church in Oosterwolde. In 1974 relocated and restored by Flentrop Organ Builders. Bell cage with a ring of two bells, one by G. Lansinck, 1591, diam. 130 cm and one modern bell. Mechanical wrought iron tower clock Sprakel, Goor, 1665, has been taken out of use.
