Omschrijving
Landhuis "Rhodus". Huis met verdieping en schilddak, tweede helft 18e eeuw. Deuromlijsting met in het hoofdgestel triglyphenfries, stoeppalen met kettingen. Vensters met twaalfruitsschuiframen.
Het pand "Groot Rhodus" is door middel van een voorplein in de vorm van een halve maan verbonden met de openbare weg, zijnde de Noordzijde. Aan de voor- en zijkanten lopen slootjes. De vrije ligging draagt in belangrijke mate aan het representatieve karakter van dit monument bij. Het pand heeft een hardstenen stoep met twee stoeppalen.
In de voorkamers links en rechts op de begane grond bevinden zich schouwen uit de bouwtijd; beide schoorsteenboezems hebben pilasters met fijn gesneden profileringen. Een lange rechte gang verdeelt het monument in een linker- en een rechterhelft; het plafond van de gang is versierd met een houten betimmering waarin vakken met een ruit- en siermotief uit de bouwtijd. De trap tussen begane grond en verdieping, rechts achter, dateert uit het begin van de 20e eeuw en heeft bescheiden snijwerk en decoratie in Jugendstil.
Het pand is van betekenis vanwege de intacte hoofdstructuur, met monumentale, centrale gang en ruimtedispositie op beide verdiepingen.

Country house "Rhodus". House with storey and hipped roof, second half 18th century. Door surround with triglyphic frieze in the main frame, bollards with chains. Windows with twelve-pane sash windows.
The building "Groot Rhodus" is connected to the public road by means of a forecourt in the form of a crescent, being the North side. Ditches run along the front and sides. The open setting contributes significantly to the representative character of this monument. The building has a stone step with two bollards.
In the front rooms left and right on the ground floor there are fireplaces from the construction period; both chimney breasts have pilasters with finely carved mouldings. A long straight corridor divides the monument into a left and right half; the ceiling of the corridor is decorated with wooden panelling with compartments featuring a diamond and decorative motif from the construction period. The staircase between ground floor and first floor, on the right at the back, dates from the beginning of the 20th century and features modest carved work and decoration in Art Nouveau style.
The building is significant because of its intact main structure, with monumental central corridor and room layout on both storeys.
