Omschrijving
N.H.KERK op omheind kerkhof. In 1682 op initiatief van Grietman van Haren herbouwde achtzijdige kerk met pyramidaal dak, bekroond door een houten klokkenkoepel op stenen onderbouw. Twee natuurstenen ingangspoortjes, thans voor portalen gesteld. Aan de noordzijde achtzijdige grafkapel voor de familie van Haren, in het inwendige van de kerk afgesloten door hekwerk met koperen spijlen en gebeeldhouwde bekroning. Voorts in de kerk preekstoel van na 1694 met bijbehorende trap, achterschot, klankbord en lezenaar, alles van zeer goed snijwerk voorzien. Doophek en doopbanken van spijlenfries. Koperen kaarsenhouder op de preekstoel en op het doophek. Doopbekkenhouder. Overhuifde herenbank van Haren-Hemmema. Orgel met tribune uit 1727. Lambrisering en banken waarop koperen blakers. In de van Harenkapel marmeren epitaaf. In de kerk drie eiken tekstborden, vier kleine koperen kronen en een grote. Description
REFORMED CHURCH on enclosed churchyard. In 1682 on the initiative of the Grietman van Haren, an octagonal church rebuilt with pyramidal roof, crowned by a wooden bell cupola on stone substructure. Two natural stone entrance porches, now set before portals. On the north side octagonal burial chapel for the van Haren family, closed off inside the church by ironwork with brass balusters and sculptured coping. Furthermore in the church a pulpit of after 1694 with accompanying stairs, back panel, sounding board and lectern, all provided with very fine carved work. Baptismal gate and baptismal benches with baluster frieze. Brass candleholder on the pulpit and on the baptismal gate. Baptismal basin holder. Hooded gentry bench of Haren-Hemmema. Organ with gallery from 1727. Panelling and benches with brass candelabra. In the van Haren chapel marble epitaph. In the church three oak text boards, four small brass crowns and one large one.
