Omschrijving
Ned. Herv. Kerk (O.L.Vrouw). Parochiekerk, waarin Nicolaas van Putten in 1307 een kapittel stichtte. Driebeukig halleschip met iets hogere middenbeuk op zuilen met gebeeldhouwde kapitelen, dwarsschip (XVIb) en diep eenbeukig koor met driezijdige sluiting (XVd). Kapel tegen de zuidwand van het koor. Eiken tongewelven met trekbalken. Toren met in de klokkenverdieping drie spitsboognissen in elk gevelvlak (XV A) en houten bovenbouw met naaldspits. Kerk gerestaureerd 1936-'37; toren 1963. Inventaris: preekstoel, 1641; doophek XVIII; tekstborden 1599; fragmenten van koorhek XVIb; belangrijke graftombe voor Nicolaas van Putten en Aleijdis van Strijen (XIVa) in zwart marmer, ingemetseld in de zuidwand van het koor. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Bovenwerk, in 1874 door C.G.F. Witte gemaakt voor de Geertekerk te Utrecht. Na verblijf in de Julianakerk te Utrecht, is het orgel in 1985 aangekocht, gerestaureerd en geplaatst in Geervliet. Klokkenstoel met klok van P. van Trier, 1646.

Description
Dutch Reformed Church (Our Lady). Parish church, in which Nicolaas van Putten established a chapter in 1307. Three-aisled hall church with slightly higher central aisle on columns with sculptured capitals, transept (second half of the 15th century) and deep single-aisled choir with three-sided closure (last quarter of the 15th century). Chapel against the south wall of the choir. Oak barrel vaults with tie beams. Tower with in the bell floor three pointed arch niches in each gable face (first half of the 15th century) and wooden superstructure with spire. Church restored 1936-'37; tower 1963. Inventory: pulpit, 1641; font cover 18th century; text boards 1599; fragments of choir screen second half of the 15th century; important tomb for Nicolaas van Putten and Aleijdis van Strijen (first quarter of the 14th century) in black marble, set into the south wall of the choir. Organ with Great Work and Upper Work, made in 1874 by C.G.F. Witte for the Geertekerk in Utrecht. After residence in the Julianakerk in Utrecht, the organ was purchased in 1985, restored and installed in Geervliet. Bell frame with bell by P. van Trier, 1646.
