Toren der Ned. herv. kerk. Tegen de westkant van de kerk staat de voor een klein deel ingebouwde toren uit het begin van de 16e eeuw. De toren bestaat uit drie geledingen, wordt afgesloten met een boogfries op kraagstenen en heeft een ingesnoerde naaldspits uit de 18e eeuw. Tegen de eerste geleding staan lage, haakse, eenmaal versneden steunberen. In de tweede geleding heeft ieder gevelvlak twee en in de derde geleding drie spitsboognissen met bakstenen traceringen. Op de torenwanden en steunberen zijn in een helderrode baksteen metseltekens in de vorm van Andreaskruisen te zien. Het torenportaal wordt met een gemetseld kruisribgewelf overdekt. In de toren hangt een luidklok uit 1755 van Joan Nicolaus Derck uit Hoorn. Toren van belang uit een oogpunt van architectuurhistorie. Eikenhouten klokkenstoel met klok van J.N. Description
Tower of the Ned. herv. church. Against the west side of the church stands the tower from the early 16th century, partially built in. The tower consists of three divisions, is closed with an arch frieze on corbels and has a narrowed needle spire from the 18th century. Against the first division stand low, right-angled, once cut buttresses. In the second division each façade face has two and in the third division three pointed arch niches with brick tracery. On the tower walls and buttresses carpenters' marks in the form of St. Andrew's crosses can be seen in a bright red brick. The tower portal is covered with a mortared cross-ribbed vault. In the tower hangs a bell from 1755 by Joan Nicolaus Derck from Hoorn. Tower of significance from the point of view of architectural history. Oak bell frame with bell by J.N. Derck, 1755, diam. 82.4 cm. Mechanical tower clock, B. Eijsbouts, Asten, 1891, later provided with electric winding.
