Omschrijving
R.K. Kerk (St. Oswald). Neogotische hallenkerk (1891, G. te Riele), met forse, bakstenen toren zonder steunberen, onderste geledingen zeer sober, derde geleding met lisenen en boogfriezen (XIV), klokkenverdieping (ca. 1500 ?) met twee getraceerde nissen in ieder gevelvlak, ingesnoerde naaldspits. Inventaris: Hoogaltaar met Kerst- en Passiegroepen (laat-gotisch) in neogotische kast en neogotisch triomfkruis met gesneden beelden van Christus tussen Maria en Joannes, ca. 1500. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Onderpositief, in 1843 gemaakt door J.D. Nolting. Mechanisch torenuurwerk Vortmann, Recklinghausen, 1906, staat in het torenportaal op een gietijzeren stoel opgesteld.

Description
R.C. Church (St. Oswald). Neogothic hall church (1891, G. te Riele), with substantial brick tower without buttresses, lower sections very austere, third section with pilasters and arch friezes (14th century style), belfry section (circa 1500 ?) with two tracered niches in each facade surface, tapering needle spire. Inventory: High altar with Christmas and Passion groups (late-gothic) in neogothic case and neogothic triumphal cross with carved figures of Christ between Mary and John, circa 1500. Organ with Great work and Positive, made in 1843 by J.D. Nolting. Mechanical tower clock Vortmann, Recklinghausen, 1906, placed in the tower portal on a cast-iron chair.
