Omschrijving
Hervormde Kerk op verhoogd kerkhof. Diepe eenschepige kerk blijkens smalle, deels door kralen omlijste vensters uit de dertiende eeuw stammend. De eveneens dertiendee-eeuwse toren is in 1904 met hardrode steen ommanteld. In de kerk zwierige preekstoel met trap, achterschot en klankbord, benevens bijpassend doophek in 1768/9 met doopboog en doopbekkenhouder, en vier gezangborden, alles gesneden door J.G. Hempel uit Sneek. Omgaande lambrisering met sobere banken en twee overhuifde herenbanken. Westelijke wand met gesneden pilasters en lijst waarboven Orgelkas in 1767 gemaakt door A.A. Hinsz. In 1924 plaatste Bakker en Timmenga in de oude kas een nieuw instrument met twee klavieren en vrij Pedaal en eenvoudige balustrade. Wetsbord. Description
Reformed Church on raised churchyard. Deep single-nave church evidenced by narrow windows, partly framed by beads, dating from the thirteenth century. The likewise thirteenth-century tower was clad in hard red brick in 1904. In the church an ornate pulpit with stairs, back panel and sounding board, together with matching baptismal gate in 1768/9 with baptismal arch and font holder, and four hymn boards, all carved by J.G. Hempel from Sneek. Surrounding wainscoting with simple pews and two canopied gentleman's pews. Western wall with carved pilasters and moulding above which organ case made in 1767 by A.A. Hinsz. In 1924 Bakker and Timmenga placed in the old case a new instrument with two manuals and free pedal and simple balustrade. Law board. In the vestry clock face 1693 and a number of gravestones including four sixteenth-century ones. Bell frame with bell by G. van Wou and J. Schonenborch, 1513, diameter 153 centimetres.
