Omschrijving
Herv. Kerk, toren en kerkhof. Bakstenen vroeggotisch gebouw met wat jonger koor; toren in 1858 vernieuwd. Fraai merendeels 18e eeuws meubilair t.w. gebeeldhouwde preekstoelleuning met trap, achterschot en klankbord (1759, door E. Swalue), doophek, doopbekken op voet, lambrisering en verdere westelijke wand met renaissancespijlen, banken, familiebanken Aylva, vier psalmborden. Rood zandstenen priesterzerk, een 16e eeuwse zerk door Claes Jansz (in de toren), en een aantal 17e en 18e eeuwse zerken onder de houten vloer. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken van Thomas Both en Willem van Aelten, 1569, resp. diam. 98 cm. en 111 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk G. de Looze, Leeuwarden, 1904. Orgel in 1880 gemaakt door L. van Dam en Zonen.

Description
Protestant Church, tower and churchyard. Brick early gothic building with somewhat later choir; tower renewed in 1858. Fine mostly 18th century furnishings including sculpted pulpit handrail with stairs, back panel and sounding board (1759, by E. Swalue), baptismal gate, baptismal font on stand, wainscoting and further western wall with renaissance spires, benches, family benches Aylva, four hymn boards. Red sandstone priest's grave stone, one 16th century grave stone by Claes Jansz (in the tower), and a number of 17th and 18th century grave stones under the wooden floor. Bell frame with bell ringing of two bells by Thomas Both and Willem van Aelten, 1569, respectively diameter 98 cm. and 111 cm. Mechanical tower clock G. de Looze, Leeuwarden, 1904. Organ made in 1880 by L. van Dam and Sons.
