Plompe- of Dieventoren. Zware toren in de Muurhuizen opgenomen, vroeger iets buiten de wal gelegen. Gebouwd als gevangenis. Toegevoegd aan de 13e eeuwse wallen. Bij restauratie van poortdoorgang voorzien, oudtijds met tentdak gedekt. Bij herstellingen in de 19e eeuw van een klokkenkapel, met klok afkomstig van de Latijnse school, voorzien. Klok gegoten door Thomas Both anno 1590, diameter 44 cm.
