Omschrijving
Provenhuis van Splinter. Langgerekt, door schilddak gedekt pand. De smalle voorgevel aan het Ritsevoort heeft op de beganegrond vensters met ontlastingsbogen voorzien van natuurstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen en een stichtingssteen (1646); een geprofileerde natuurstenen lijst scheidt de beganegrond van de halve verdieping. Deze heeft een kroonlijst met trigliefconsoles en in een rechthoekige nis een wapenhoudende figuur. De natuurstenen lijst loopt door over de lange gevel aan de Lindegracht; de vensters aan deze zijde zijn voorzien van een kalf. Inwendig ligt de reeks van acht woningen aan een gedeeltelijk open galerij met vijf houten toscaanse zuilen en tonzoldering.

Description
Provenhuis of Splinter. Elongated building covered by hipped roof. The narrow front facade on the Ritsevoort has on the ground floor windows with relieving arches furnished with ashlar quoins and voussoirs and a foundation stone (1646); a moulded ashlar cornice separates the ground floor from the mezzanine. This has a cornice with triglyph consoles and in a rectangular niche a coat-of-arms-bearing figure. The ashlar cornice continues across the long facade on the Lindegracht; the windows on this side are furnished with a calf. Internally a series of eight dwellings is arranged along a partly open gallery with five wooden Tuscan columns and barrel ceiling.
