Omschrijving
Herv. kerk (St. Helena). Flinke, laatgotische pseudobasiliek nabij de heuveltop, tegen welks helling het dorp is gebouwd. Toren laatromaans, ca. 1200 of XIII A, koor met de oostelijke drie schiptraveeën midden XV of XV B en westelijk drie schiptraveeën, ca. 1500 XV A. Zuilen, kruisgewelven op kraagstenen, waarvan die in het oostelijk deel met opmerkelijke sculptuur. Ook in de boogzwikken van het zuiderportaal goed beeldhouwwerk. Gewelfschilderingen, XV. Negen koperen kronen en zes wandarmen. Orgelkas in barokke vormen, Westvaals werk uit 1760. Rugpositief in 1811. Eikenhouten klokkenstoel met viergelui van Van Bergen, 1946. Anoniem klokje, begin 20ste eeuw in de spits. Mechanisch smeedijzeren torenuurwerk met inscripties, later voorzien van elektrische opwinding.

Description
Reformed church (St. Helena). Substantial late Gothic pseudo-basilica near the hilltop, against the slope of which the village is built. Tower late Romanesque, c. 1200 or first half 13th century, choir with the eastern three nave bays mid 15th or second half 15th century and western three nave bays, c. 1500 first half 15th century. Columns, ribbed vaults on corbels, of which those in the eastern part with remarkable sculpture. Also in the arch spandrels of the southern portal fine sculptural work. Vault paintings, 15th century. Nine brass crowns and six wall sconces. Organ case in Baroque forms, Westphalian work from 1760. Rückpositiv in 1811. Oak wooden belfry with four bells by Van Bergen, 1946. Anonymous small bell, early 20th century in the spire. Mechanical wrought-iron tower clock with inscriptions, later fitted with electric winding.
