Omschrijving
Zuiderkerk (1603-1611 door Hendrick de Keyser). Driebeukige pseudobasiliek op rechthoekige plattegrond, de zijbeuken aan iedere zijde op twee plaatsen transeptachtig verhoogd. Zuiderkerkstoren. Excentrisch tegen de kerk geplaatste toren bestaand uit een vierkante romp waarop een zandstenen achtkant met losse hoekzuilen en een houten bekroning met lantaren (voltooid 1614, Hendrick de Keyser). Klokkenspel bestaande uit ? klokken van François Hemony, gegoten in 1651 en 1658, en ? moderne klokken. Trommelspeelwerk van Otto Roelofsz, 1617, met trommel gegoten door Pieter Hemony. Op de zolder ? buiten gebruik gestelde klokken en buiten gebruik gesteld klavier uit de 17de eeuw. Klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit een klok van W. en J. Moer, 1511, diam. 168,5 cm, een klok van François Hemony, 1659, diam. resp. 129,5 en 108,5 cm, en een moderne klok.

Zuiderkerk (1603-1611 by Hendrick de Keyser). Three-aisled pseudo-basilica on rectangular ground plan, the side aisles on each side raised in transept-like fashion at two points. Zuiderkerkstoren. Eccentrically placed against the church, tower consisting of a square body upon which a sandstone octagon with loose corner columns and a wooden crown with lantern (completed 1614, Hendrick de Keyser). Carillon consisting of ? bells by François Hemony, cast in 1651 and 1658, and ? modern bells. Drum mechanism by Otto Roelofsz, 1617, with drum cast by Pieter Hemony. On the attic floor ? decommissioned bells and a decommissioned keyboard from the 17th century. Bell frame with peal consisting of a bell by W. and J. Moer, 1511, diam. 168.5 cm, a bell by François Hemony, 1659, diam. respectively 129.5 and 108.5 cm, and a modern bell.
