Burgerweeshuis. Onregelmatig complex met twee binnenplaatsen, de wanden om de grote met pilastergeleding (1632 en later), die om de kleine in soortgelijke trant, met open galerij (midden 17e eeuw). Poortje aan St. Luciensteeg plm 1570, later gedateerd 1634; poort aan Kalverstraat 1581. Vleugel langs N.Z. Voorburgwal plm 1680 met geheel vlakke rustige gevelwand.

Description
Civic Orphanage. Irregular complex with two courtyards, the walls around the large one with pilaster articulation (1632 and later), those around the small one in similar fashion, with open gallery (mid-17th century). Small gate at St. Luciensteeg c. 1570, later dated 1634; gate at Kalverstraat 1581. Wing along N.Z. Voorburgwal c. 1680 with entirely flat, restrained facade.
